Seorang yang berilmu harus sadar dan memahami ilmunya sehingga adab mempelajari matematika akan sangat menentukan keberhasilann bagi individu tersebut. Seperti yang terjadi akhir-akhir ini bahwa baik guru maupun siswa kurang memahami adab mempelajari matematika yaitu dengan dibuktikan saat menjelang dan pelaksanaan Ujian Akhir Nasional.
Siswa memang dituntut untuk mencapai hasil atau target yang sesuai dengan ketentuan pemerintah, tetapi semua itu dapat diantisipasi oleh guru agar siswa mampu beradab dalam mempelajari, mempersiapkan materi matematika untuk ujian akhir nasional.
Yang perlu dilakukan guru adalah berusaha memberikan konsep dan implementasi langsung dilapangan dalam mengajarkan matematika. Dengan kekuatan konsep dan kekayaan sumber belajar baik dari buku, internet, diskusi antar siswa dan pengalaman langsung dilapangan akan menambah kecintaan siswa dalam mempelajari matematika. Guru harus berusaha memberikan konsep dan berbagai permasalahan sehingga siswa akan semakin tertangtang untuk menggali pengalaman belajar untuk menyelesaikan masalah.Dengan begitu intuisi matematika akan mulai terbentuk dalam pikiran siswa. Motivasi, keterampilan dan kreativitas siswa dalam mempelajari matematika akan terbangun dengan support dan guide dari guru.

Secara adab filsafat, mempelajari sebuah ilmu adalah bagaimana permulaan diri kita membuka hati untuk menerima ilmu. Pemikiran matematika bisa muncul begitu saja tanpa kita ketahui bagaimana cara membuktikannya. Intuisi matematika bisa datang kepada orang yang mempunyai sumber kekayaan pemikiran, pengalaman, dan kekayaan penyelesaian masalah-masalah yang berhubungan dengan matematika.
Intuisi juga dapat muncul bila kita sering membaca dan membuka wawasan tentang berbagai macam dunia. Dengan membaca maka kita akan memahami dan sadar akan kedudukan kita sehingga kita dapat menempatkan dimana kemampuan kita. Intuisi akan sangat bermanfaat membantu kita menemukan sesuatu yang luar biasa dan fantastik dalam matematika.

The Role of Psychology in Mathematics Education

As we know mathematic s is still become the lesson that is frightened by almost all students from Elementary School until Senior High School. This fright is caused by something such as over pressure only to memorize, pressure to speed calculation, authoritative study, less of variation in mathematics teaching learning process and over pressure in students’ achievement .
So that, to solve this problems, the role of teacher is very important. Because the role of teacher is very important in solving mathematics’ phobia ,so method of teaching mathematics must be corrected. If method of teaching mathematics focus on arithmetic before, the teacher must improve the students’ ability to think by using logical mathematics this time.
Beside that, the teacher must be psychology approach to student. The teacher must give meaningful in studying mathematics so the students understand the nature of mathematics and not only understand the theory. In this case role of teacher heavier because he is not only to identify theorem, axiom, definition, numbers, or only mathematics’ operation, but the teacher must apply all concept in mathematics to life. By this teaching learning process, so the advantage from study mathematics can be felt by students. The students will interest and enthusiasm to study mathematics.
In psychology aspect, according psychologist “ Alva Handayani” parent’s role are so needed to solving mathematics’ phobia. She said that teaching mathematics not only identify numbers and numeric then memorize. Although how the student understand meaning study mathematics. The parent must give chance children to explore and to observe in relaxed condition. The parent is not worried with mathematics’ ability their children. The most important to grow mathematics’ loving for the children are usually they discovery mathematics concept through game in relaxed situation at home in order to prepare the children future.

In general, the society to consider that mathematics as the lesson which is difficult. Paradigm of society that mathematics is considered as spectra which to frighten must be disappeared from idea. The paradigm as good as is moved to sense that study mathematics exiting and interest. In this case, teacher have the great role to begin growing sense of mathematics to student. If the case is connected with psychology, so in studying mathematics beside to use cognitive learning, the student must be insighted how confront mathematics and how manage psychology condition. So the teacher must understand with character and psychology condition each student. Role of psychology is very great to decide successful of learning mathematics. Before teaching, psychology condition of the teacher must be prepared early how begin the lesson with pure mind so what will be explain can optimal and can be received by student well. Beside that, the teacher also must be able to see the student’s condition at the time, whether the student in good mood or bad mood. By knowing the student’s psychology condition so the teacher can be able to imply mathematics teaching learning method exactly. By doing the suitable approach will help the student accept what the teacher is given because the student fell comfortable and exiting.
